Dear ELFA Member:

Last week, Hurricane Sandy struck in the heart of our nation’s financial center.  Thousands of residents in New York, New Jersey and the surrounding areas have suffered significant losses and the costs of recovering from the storm are building exponentially.

ELFA is joining with the leadership of the financial services trade associations listed below to encourage donations to the American Red Cross to help facilitate recovery efforts in Sandy’s wake.

You may contribute to this important cause by making a donation online at

Fundraiser

For those of you in the Washington, D.C., vicinity, we invite you to join us for a fundraiser event to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 15, 6 – 8 p.m., at the Homer Building, 601 13th Street NW, Washington, D.C.  The minimum donation to attend is $100 per person, but larger donations are welcome and encouraged. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the American Red Cross to help facilitate Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts. You may make your donation online at http://rdcrss.org/TuOg3y or bring a check payable to the American Red Cross on the night of the event.  If you plan to attend the fundraiser event, please RSVP to SandyFundraiser@financialservicesforum.org.

If you are unable to attend the fundraiser event, we still encourage you to donate to this important cause.

Thank you for your generosity.
